Band of Coyotes Featured at Oak Park Brewing Co.

Open Mic/Feature Host Scott Reeves

The start of summer is still over two weeks away but the weather is already beginning the spring-to-summer transition.  People are coming out, to play, to listen, to enjoy some great Sacramento craft beers, to eat, and to socialize.

So on May 31, when I dropped into the Oak Park Brewing Co. to enjoy a glass of their delicious Ropeswing Cream Ale and listen to one of our local feature acts, quite a few others had obviously had the same idea.

Thursday Feature Night host Scott Reeves had arranged for the Band of Coyotes to play, and they put out some enjoyable original music that blended well with the overall OPBC scene.  It’s so appreciated to have this music now on Thursday nights, since in recent years the only open mic or local featured group activity has taken place in Placerville or Auburn.

And on your next visit to OBPC, try a glass of that Ropeswing Cream Ale.  So tasty…
